About Us

The Heather Trust operates throughout the UK to promote improved standards of moorland management.  The Trust is retained by UPL to provide a bracken control advisory service – see the Contact Us page.

The aim of this service is to provide a single point of contact for all bracken control related queries.  The Trust will provide links to other specialists and contractors where appropriate.  The service is sponsored by UPL and therefore there is no charge for using the service.

In conjunction with the Advisory Service, UPL are producing a Bracken Control Guide that will provide information on all bracken control techniques.  When this is published, it will be available as a download from this website.  In the meantime, The Heather Trust will be pleased to answer queries and provide contact details for contractors and other specialists that operate in your area.
