Research and Briefings
A interim report from year 1 of the work on a trials site near Dumfries has been added to the Research Reports page of the website - https://www.brackencontrol.co.uk/research1/research-reports.
This confirms the best time to apply Amidosulfuron and Asulam products, but also highlights the associated concerns. A final report from the trial will be published, next year.
Two further briefings have been added to the Briefings page on the website - https://www.brackencontrol.co.uk/briefings .
The briefings provide:
- a summary of the chemical bracken trials in progress, in May this year, and
- more information about the timing of application of Amidosulfuron / Asulam. This is being confirmed as part of the trial reported above.
