The question of Asulox authorisation addressed on First Ministers Questions
Fergus Ewing’s question to the First Minister Humza Yousaf today:
Question: Uncontrolled bracken is the perfect breeding ground for ticks which carry diseases that infect humans such as Lymes Disease.
Will the First Minister end the delay and immediately instruct the authorisation of ASULOX, the sole effective treatment to control bracken, given time is now running out for its procurement and use this season , and thus avoid the very serious risk of widespread infection of humans of the dreadful Lymes Disease.
